Tutti Frutti- starting off

Juice Bar 

I've been working on my colour scheme and ideas for a Juice Bar called Tutti Frutti..........

I have been very conscious of the fact I overthink every idea I have.... So with this in mind I'm really trying to suppress my need to run with every idea or emotion.....

STICK TO BRIEF

Ok so some of the words used for the Juice Bar are:  witty, colourful, exciting, visually distinctive, quirky, fun suggesting a mix of fruits, colours. An attractive and enticing product.......

Do you realise how hard it is to try and suppress such an exciting and positive adventure.... when I should be throwing colour and fruit and life onto surfaces and see what happens or making smoothies for all and asking them to express the taste or feeling it brings........ if you could express your happiness of taste in a colour what would it be........??

Being in a shopping centre people will want an energetic pick me up, something eye catching thats quick and inviting that lets you come and go with a feel good factor.......Lets face if after spending all day walking around trying on clothes and probably viewing/seeing my (fat) from every angle in a mirror, I'm gonna be wanting to feel like I'm making a difference to my image and enjoying the sense and taste of health.......getting a boost and top up of energy!

After looking at fruit, drawing and cutting it up, photocopying images I'm trying to find what works and textures I can use....I decided to make a mood board in order to find a colour scheme that I want to use as a base for my ideas........See sketchbook for more info..

Looked at perspective drawing and did some work and examples in book......

MAKE A REFERENCE TO Specialist materials, techniques and processes and elements such as form and function, colour, line, texture, decoration and pattern....
2D and 3D models,mood board and samples.

This has set me up with a starting point however I will look at other atrist's and reference them also.....someone coming to mind is the Memphis Group of the 1980's..... work in progress and will be interesting to see how much influence or change it has in my design from start to finish.......


Need to look and think of lighting ideas and special effects also......
