Project

Below are some of the work Ive produced of the past 10 weeks of the brief PROJECT.

I decided to go down the visual art and sculpture topic. 

The ideas behind my work was that of What makes us human and why do as humans, do we lose our natural instincts. Social and psychology impact. 

The relationships we have and the world we habitat differently to the animals world. 

Art history and the evolutionary development of man against the animistic ones. 

Above is the cement hand I made and below is the clay one. The hands are important factor in my studies as I feel the hands can express so much.

the mix of animal skull and the child like body brings together for me a eerie but forgotten warped sense of the unnatural living being with the natural

Cement baby below didn't work as it was to heavy to move after the model set. 

My found skulls I wanted to make human child casts and place the skull onto the bodies. I would have liked to have create an environment for these sculptures to be placed in. Tree trunks and branches, mushrooms and decay. Living and breathing place of life and death. The yin and yang and the circle of life etc
